I saw this and I began to mentally compare it to cartoon series like he-man. This one feels just like those early 90s cartoons. Same art style, same campy humour, same music, even the designs are similiar in spirit.
Your great work is let down by the story. The story is far too predictable and we can see all the turns. If you would apply your gorgeous art to a more original story, we will be in Flash heaven.
However, I thought that the art in ep 1 looked more like those in cartoon series. This one has better art but it somehow looks too 'Flash' to me. I think it's the colouring. And the way the characters keep bobbing when they talk is irritating.
The plotholes are larger than the explosions depicted. Why bomb civilian centres? Why does China want to invade dprk? US Bombs HK?????
But I am not grading on facts.
First the graphics are decent. The planes were somewhat detailed, so kudos, I think. I could see that the sides used different planes. I like that.
The style was interesting too, the flashback and all that. Personally I would have preferred more of a action film or more of a newsreel feel. Your scenes felt like neither. It was not action packed enough to be macho and too melodramatic for a newsreel. Choosing the middle ground meant that your scenes had the impact of neither. But I'll say it's a good effort.
There's no sound. Is there supposed to be sound? I can hear only music. I won't grade on sound then.
The music selection could have been better. Hearing the matrix music made me want to sleep.
There were no people depicted on screen. This diminishes any impact. Side note: I thought the tanks belonged to dprk.
This flash is decent if only because of the effort put in. Not great, not good. You did not make me go wow with l337 flash sk1llz and you did not have a gripping story.

Decent job despite factual errors
